About Us

Help A Sister Out Inc. was founded by NICOLE E. PORTER, who recognized
that there is a significant need for support services for pregnant young girls who
are homeless or in foster care. She recognized that many pregnant young girls faced significant barriers to securing stable housing, maintaining employment, and accessing critical services. Motivated by a desire to address this gap in services, she founded Help A Sister Out Inc. as a nonprofit to support young girls with a safe and secure home environment where they can access the resources and support they need to achieve their educational goals, employment, and overall well-being.

Nicole is well prepared to develop and manage Help A Sister Out Inc. and
establish necessary organizational linkages. She is involved in 100% of the work
regarding creating, starting, and running the foundation, including all the
fundraising activities to raise funds to become a 501c (3) established
organization. She is committed and supported by a team of credible individuals
who are readily prepared to harness all their strength, availability, and
professionalism to catapult the business to a greater height. Help A Sister Out
Inc. is registered in the United States of America.

• God has called us to utilize our expertise as an extension of the church. James 1:27
• God has called us to serve our community with compassionate care and practical assistance. Proverbs 24:11-12 & James 4:17
