Our Needs

In addition to ongoing support and financial donations for operating expenses, the following are  specific items needed for the organization:

 

• Facilities to house clients
• Large Passenger Vans
• Non-Profit Attorney
• Ongoing Monetary Donations for operating expenses

 

Our immediate need is to raise funds to secure our first maternity home and hire staff.

Volunteers

 We will need community volunteers from all walks of life who believe in our cause and are willing to work with us in changing the future of our children. Help A Sister Out is looking for those that have a heart for our girls and who want to join us in making a difference in our community. We are also looking for women who were pregnant teens and adult children of teen mothers that understand the challenges that teen girls face. We are looking for people who are comfortable expressing and showing our girls how to overcome the hurdles that they will encounter. 

FUNDRAISE

Help us by setting up a fundraiser on our behalf. You can host a baby shower or you can raise funds for birthdays, graduations, mother’s day, in honor of and holiday gifts, just to name a few!

MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS

The corporation or business you work for may have a matching gift program or grant program that requires a recommendation by an employee. BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN

Help A Sister Out Baby Bottle Campaign is a fun and easy way to help support single mothers and their children. You set the date you want to run your campaign, we deliver the bottles to your church, school or civic organization. Fill the bottles with your loose change, cash or checks and we'll pick up the bottles and count the change. It’s a simple way to get your group involved to change a mom’s life.
